Today's card is one I made using a new stamp set called For The Birds... And I earned this set for free from Stampin Up!!
I really like this set as it cute & let's you get colouring with pens so you can change the look by changing the colours you use.
I've combined it with the Orchard Harvest Papers which have some fantastic colour combinations and don't have to be "harvesty" at all.
The Framelits Labels dies were used to cut the shaped topper.. Another must have set I think!
If you are interested in earning free Stampin Up goodies and want to join Stampin Up as a demo, why not get in touch for more information ... There's no obligation to sign up, you can just get more info to help you decide if it's for you. Or if you want to place an order I'm happy to do that for you too!

Ornament Keepsakes
Hi everyone,
This is another really quick card for you that you can batch make to help get those Christmas cards well underway!!
Very simple colours just white & Melon Mambo, the background is cut with the Apothecary Accents Framlits which has a great selection of shapes & sizes. I've used Snowflake Soirée to stamp the background too.
Hope the quick cards are giving a bit of inspiration in making your Christmas cards as I know it can be a daunting task! :)
Take care,
Hx

Today's card I'm sharing is using the lovely Snowflake Soirée set again, I have to say its definitely a favourite of mine!
I've used the Apothecary Accents framelits for the greeting & the Bigz Snow Flurry die to embellish. You will see in the close up shot I've accented the snowflake with the supper glittery Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle! I love it!!!
Hope you like my card, if you would like to order any of the items please get in touch and I'd be happy to help you out.

Snowflake Soirée
Hello everyone!
Again I'm apologising for my lack of blogging, really don't know where these days & weeks are going!!
Today I'm sharing a new set called Snowflake Soirée which is a beautiful stamp set with lovely greetings to match. I've made some quick Christmas cards to share with you as I know we always seem to run out of time for making our own christmas cards, so hopefully these will show you some simple quick card ideas you can make in a batch!
The ink colours I've used are pacific point & the new in colour raspberry ripple, and I've also used the new dazzling details silver sparkle on both cards.
Hope you like my quick card share,
Take care,
Hx

Blossom Punch Easel Gift Box
Hi everyone,
The project I'm sharing today is part card & part gift box, and is a project I designed for one of my recent craft workshops at Doncaster Dome.
The box itself is a matchbox style with a little drawer which slides out & can be used to store a gift. You could if you wanted, add a brad or ribbon pull to the front of the drawer.
I've used the mixed bunch stamp set to decorate the easel card & the outer part of the box too. The 3D flower has been made using the fantastic Blossom Punch - I've made so many things with this punch, it's a definite must have!
Hope you like my project, if you would like to join our craft workshops at the Doncaster Dome and learn how to make projects like this then please let me know, we'd love to welcome new members into our group!
Happy crafting!

Finn McMissile
Hello!
I'm sharing a card I made for a 5 year old boys birthday. The request was for a Finn McMissile (Disney Cars 2) design, so I had to use a photo I found on the net as the focal point of the card.
I decided to stick with a simple circle design & limit my colours too. The card went down really well so I'm happy with that.
I will be back soon with more projects, if you would like to place an order for any SU products, please let me know.

Wedding Acceptance Card
Hi,
Today's post is a really clean & simple card that I made as a wedding acceptance. I didn't have a rubber stamp for the greeting so i printed it from my computer directly onto the card blank.
I've used the Heart to Heart punch & the Twitterpated papers to make little fluttery hearts - I've folded them & glued just the centre part... Like with a butterfly!
That's it for today, hope you have a good day!

Wedding Card
Well I'm hoping this post works ok as I seem to have had a few blog gremlins!
Here we go....
Today's share is a wedding card I made for some friends of ours who are getting married very soon!
I've seen the mr & mrs towel design before but again I've altered it to make my own card design.
I've used a white 6x6 scalloped card blank (but you could cut your own using the SU scalloped square die if you own it!) I've scored the front & back to make it into a gatefold card and I've embossed two whisper white panels to go on the front. You might be able to see that I've used the same square lattice embossing folder but I've used it one way for the panels & turned the embossed design over for the actual towels so it looks like two different designs!
Next I've used the fabulous labels collection framelits dies to create my mat for the front using pool party & whisper white card. I've stamped the pool party layer with the swirly stamp from everything eleanor stamp set.
The towels are made from whisper white & I've punched a strip of pool party card for the "trim" . The mr & mrs greeting is from the petite pairs stamp set ...( Got to be one of my most used greeting sets!!! ) the towel rail is a thin strip of pool party & two of our tiny silver brads to act as "wall fixings".
The inside has a panel of crumb cake & pool party again stamped with the swirly Everything Eleanor stamp... This is to hide the original score line as I've created this gatefold from a regular card blank ;) ... A nifty little trick!
I hope you like my design, remember the Summer Mini Catalogue will be no more at the end of August so if you want to order anything you need to let me know ASAP, or if you want to order any other items just let me know :)
Going to play with my new SU goodies that have just arrived... Will share a sneaky preview tomorrow :)

40th birthday card - man
Well, firstly let me say I'm soooo sorry for neglecting my blog recently. It's these school holidays that's to blame!
Today I'm sharing a card I made recently for a 40th birthday card which is for a man. I saw the basic idea done by another SU demo & changed it slightly to fit my design. We often see cupcakes for female birthdays so this is a male take on cupcakes but using pints of beer instead!
The beer is from a retired SU set and the cake stand is from the crazy for cupcakes set in the main catalogue. I have to say the cupcakes set is a really useful set, and as you can see from my photo I've only inked the very bottom section of the cupcake stand stamp which is a cool little technique you can use with other stamps too!
Tomorrow I will be waiting in for my SU delivery to arrive which includes some of the brand new Christmas & halloween goodies that us demos can pre-order before the new (not so) mini catalogue goes live on sept 1st! I'm really excited & can't wait to get my hands on them!! Each year I tell myself I've really got enough Christmas stash without needing to buy any more... But as I'm sure you will know that just doesn't work! Especially when you see the new products available!! Can't wait to show you :)
Ok, that's it for now, I will try to post some more projects over the next couple of days, if you would like to order anything please drop me a line & I'd be happy to help.

Blossom Punch Teacher Leaving Gifts
Firstly, apologies for neglecting my blog! I've had a really crazy couple of weeks so didn't get chance to post on here as I would have liked.
Today's share is a cute little gift box I made for my daughter Daisy's teachers. Well i made 9 of them infact! She is 4 years old and has just left her nursery to start full time at a new school in September, so she had been going to the same nursery since she had just turned 2!
The little boxes are actually unfinished Kraft Board boxes, intended for wedding favours. I used the fab SU Designers Series Paper Stack which I think is probably some of the most useful & useable papers we have. The designs are very versatile & they come in all of the colours in the SU family!
As you can see from the photos, I've covered the base of the box with a strip of the paper, and the sides of the lid with the pool party ruffled ribbon. ( I painted the top of the lid & the edges with white paint before decorating )
Then using the Blossom Punch from the summer mini, I punched 1 flower in green which was glued flat to the lid, and punched 5 further flowers in 2 shades of pink to make the blossom itself.
Next, I put a hole in the middle of each pink flower, then squirted them with water on both sides to soften the fibres of the card. Then after really scrunching the flowers up, I used a brad to secure all the flowers together & teased them open slightly until I was happy with the look of my blossom.
Last part was to glue the blossom to the lid of the box & that's it!
I put a little bracelet inside each box as Daisy's teachers are all ladies. The gifts went down really well & Daisy was very proudly handing them out! :)
I also made a really quick thank you card to match the boxes, as shown in the photos.
Time to relax now after my Blossom punch workshop today, I will share more pics & details of that another day for you.
Hope you enjoyed seeing this little project,
Hx

Blossom Congratulations Card
Hi everyone!
Quick post today to share a card I have made for my lovely friend & upline Nicky. She has recently been offered a place at uni & is over the moon!!
I've used the Blossom Punch & Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, both from the Summer Mini Catalogue.
Don't forget my next workshop at Doncaster Dome is using the Blossom Punch, and there really is a never ending list of things you can do with this punch! So much so that it's been very difficult to narrow down the projects we will be making! We could fill quite a few workshops just on this punch :)
If you would like more info about my workshops or would like to place an order, please email me... Ladyfitzb@aol.com
Bye for now!

Twitterpated Circle Card
Hi everyone,
Today I'm sharing a card I've made using the gorgeous Twitterpated papers.
I have decorated the background by layering some silver mirror card & pretty in pink card, then I've cut a circle (using my Bigshot) from the paper & glued it onto a circle of card so I could mount it to the card blank using dimensionals (3D foam pads).
I have punched various flowers from the Twitterpated paper, & card - melon mambo, lucky limeade & pretty in pink and layered them to make my flowers, finishing the centres with small buttons.
The Best Wishes is from the petite pairs stamp set, which I seem to go to alot, the sizes of the stamps are great for cards & I love the font styles too!
The greeting is stamped on whisper white & mounted on the larger scallop circle punched from melon mambo card.
Hope you like today's share, it was one of those cards that is simple but I really enjoyed making this one.
If you would like to order these or any other Stampin' Up! Products, I'd be happy to help. Just email me at the address at the top of my blog :)

Blossom & Mixed Bunch
Well I thought I'd have a play with the Blossom Punch & matching Mixed Bunch stamp set seeing as its the punch I will be using for my next Workshop in Doncaster!
I have to say the possibilities are endless with this punch! It's another great design from Stampin' Up! that you really can alter & customise to fit your project!
I like it when it's one of those 'not just what it says on the tin' kind of tools! And to be fair Stampin' Up! are really good at bringing us this kind of thing.
On this card I've cut the front panel short & attached the flower to the back of the card using a beautiful shimmery brad!
The petals of the flower then act as a fastener to close the card. You will see I've also used the flower to make the leaves too. And a bit of designer paper to finish the look! This is a card I cased and I really love the look.
Hope you like it too!
Don't forget my Blossom Punch Workshop on 21st July, please contact me to book your place!

Blossom Card
Hello!
Today I'm sharing a card that I got the idea from seeing something similar online. I've made 2 versions as you will see, and I've used the fabby pleated ribbon on one to show how adding a small amount can really alter the look/feel of your projects.
I couldn't decide which colour I preferred so went with one of each ... Not bad to say I started out with a totally different pink card in mind :)
Don't forget my next Doncaster Dome Workshop in July is using the Blossom Punch too! Contact me for more info & to book your place.
Happy crafting!

My Scrapbook Page
Well as promised, here is the 12x12 layout I made using my sons last school photo.
I've used lots of Stampin' Up! punches, a huge Stampin' Up! Rubber Stamp (that I absolutely love!!) and some of the gorgeous pleated ribbon. I think I'm going to have to stock up on the ribbon in all colours before the Summer Mini Catalogue ends!!! It totally lifts your projects even using a small amount!
I've taken some close ups of the embellishments I've made so you can see the different heights etc. Its going into a 12x12 box frame so I had lots of space to add some depth.
Hope you like my design, if you would like to order anything I've used or have any questions please let me know,

Mums Scrapbook Page
Well, I never thought I'd hear the words but my mum came round and said she wanted to do a scrapbook layout to put in a frame for her house, so we set about designing it!
Mum has done all of the work herself & has decided to use my sons school photo, it's a special photo for us, some of you will know, my son was diagnosed as Autistic when he was 4 years old, and we've recently moved him schools so this photo is the last one ever from his old school.
Mum had used mostly Stampin' Up! products though there is a tiny amount of another brand in there too.
Mum was really pleased with her work & I'm so proud of what she's made using my sons photo! Not bad to say its the first layout she's ever done!
We've framed it in a 12x12 box frame so it's now ready to hang on her wall.
Well done mum, I love it!
Hope you all like it too :)
Hx
Ps... I will share the layout I've done tomorrow, it's similar but different if you know what I mean!

Daisy Card
Hi,
The card I'm sharing today was a card we made at the Stampin' Up! Regional training a few weeks ago.
I really like this card as it looks fresh & bright plus it's got a Daisy flower, which was made using the new Blossom punch from the Summer Mini Catalogue - a must have punch I think!
It also shows the "rik-rak" border which has been punched using the scallop border punch.. This can take a couple of tries to perfect how to line it up but once you have it sorted that's it!
The stamps used were from the new Mixed Bunch stamp set which perfectly matches with the Blossom Punch.
Hope you like the card, if you would like to order any of the items used in any of the projects i have shared please feel free to email me,
Happy Crafting!

The card I'm sharing today was a card we made at the Stampin' Up! Regional training a few weeks ago.

Make a monster!
Hi everyone,
This is a quick post to share with you a card I made using the fantastic Make A Monster stamp set. (118742 wood £23.95 or 120606 clear £18.95)
This has got to be one of my favourite stamp sets for making boys cards!
I love how you can build each monster using different eyes & mouth, and you can colour them to match any colour scheme! And the eyes also make a good background or fill in stamp too.
Hope you like the card,
Hx

Doncaster Stamp Magic Show
Hi everyone,
Yesterday my lovely Stampin' Up! Mum Nicky & I had a stand at the Doncaster Stamp Magic Show. It was the first show we had done together as Stampin' Up! & we had a great day!
We met at 7am to start building our display & finished it just as the doors opened at 10am! You will see a before & after photo below.
We were both really pleased with how the stand came together & we received lots of positive comments from customers on our display, it really did make the hard work worthwhile! (Our feet are aching a bit today though!)
I spoke to so many lovely crafters at the show, it was great to meet you all!
Thank you very much to all the ladies that placed orders, booked onto our Owl Punch Workshop or booked a home workshop with us, we really do appreciate your custom & support :)
For those who were unable to make the Owl Punch Workshop, keep checking my blog and I will post details of any other workshops we are running as we confirm the dates.
Happy crafting, looking forward to see you at the workshop!
