Firstly, apologies for neglecting my blog! I've had a really crazy couple of weeks so didn't get chance to post on here as I would have liked.
Today's share is a cute little gift box I made for my daughter Daisy's teachers. Well i made 9 of them infact! She is 4 years old and has just left her nursery to start full time at a new school in September, so she had been going to the same nursery since she had just turned 2!
The little boxes are actually unfinished Kraft Board boxes, intended for wedding favours. I used the fab SU Designers Series Paper Stack which I think is probably some of the most useful & useable papers we have. The designs are very versatile & they come in all of the colours in the SU family!
As you can see from the photos, I've covered the base of the box with a strip of the paper, and the sides of the lid with the pool party ruffled ribbon. ( I painted the top of the lid & the edges with white paint before decorating )
Then using the Blossom Punch from the summer mini, I punched 1 flower in green which was glued flat to the lid, and punched 5 further flowers in 2 shades of pink to make the blossom itself.
Next, I put a hole in the middle of each pink flower, then squirted them with water on both sides to soften the fibres of the card. Then after really scrunching the flowers up, I used a brad to secure all the flowers together & teased them open slightly until I was happy with the look of my blossom.
Last part was to glue the blossom to the lid of the box & that's it!
I put a little bracelet inside each box as Daisy's teachers are all ladies. The gifts went down really well & Daisy was very proudly handing them out! :)
I also made a really quick thank you card to match the boxes, as shown in the photos.
Time to relax now after my Blossom punch workshop today, I will share more pics & details of that another day for you.
Hope you enjoyed seeing this little project,
Hx

Blossom Congratulations Card
Hi everyone!
Quick post today to share a card I have made for my lovely friend & upline Nicky. She has recently been offered a place at uni & is over the moon!!
I've used the Blossom Punch & Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, both from the Summer Mini Catalogue.
Don't forget my next workshop at Doncaster Dome is using the Blossom Punch, and there really is a never ending list of things you can do with this punch! So much so that it's been very difficult to narrow down the projects we will be making! We could fill quite a few workshops just on this punch :)
If you would like more info about my workshops or would like to place an order, please email me... Ladyfitzb@aol.com
Bye for now!

Twitterpated Circle Card
Hi everyone,
Today I'm sharing a card I've made using the gorgeous Twitterpated papers.
I have decorated the background by layering some silver mirror card & pretty in pink card, then I've cut a circle (using my Bigshot) from the paper & glued it onto a circle of card so I could mount it to the card blank using dimensionals (3D foam pads).
I have punched various flowers from the Twitterpated paper, & card - melon mambo, lucky limeade & pretty in pink and layered them to make my flowers, finishing the centres with small buttons.
The Best Wishes is from the petite pairs stamp set, which I seem to go to alot, the sizes of the stamps are great for cards & I love the font styles too!
The greeting is stamped on whisper white & mounted on the larger scallop circle punched from melon mambo card.
Hope you like today's share, it was one of those cards that is simple but I really enjoyed making this one.
If you would like to order these or any other Stampin' Up! Products, I'd be happy to help. Just email me at the address at the top of my blog :)
