The group will be open to all abilities so whether you are a brand new crafter or more experienced there will be something to suit all. If this is something you are interested in joining please contact me to register your interest.

Why not join a friendly group of like minded people, have a couple of hours crafting, chatting & meeting new friends plus you get to take home the projects you have created!

My first card post...

Well choosing my first share with you was pretty difficult as I seem to have lots of favourites at the moment! Especially since the new Summer Mini was launched! But one stamp I've loved for quite some time now has been Baroque Motifs 113490 from the main Stampin Up catalogue, pg 74. And I seem to have a 'thing' for tone on tone colours too as you can see from the photos :)

To create this card I've used a white card blank & cut a piece of Whisper White card stock smaller than the card itself to create the crisp white border.
Then I've gone with a Rich Razzleberry colour theme & have colour tinted the Whisper White card using my ink pad & some foam ( you can do a similar effect with the sponge daubers too)
I've worked more on the edges of the card so you can see they are a deeper shade than the middle. Then using the same Ink pad I have stamped the large scroll stamp from the Baroque Motifs set to give the tone on tone effect. The tiny flowers are punched from Rich Razzleberry card stock using the Itty Bitty punches ( pg 117 of main catalogue ...these are fab! ) and finished them off with a rhinestone jewel. The greeting is from the For my family stamp set & punched out using the Word window punch.

Now I have a little confession to make regarding the ribbon... I've loved many Stampin Up products for some time but I've never ever used the Seam Binding before!! Not until my friend & Stampin Up mum showed me some in the 'flesh' . I've even used my ink pad to colour tint the Seam Binding so it all matches my colour theme & style.

Enough waffling from me now, I hope you like my card .. Happy crafting Hx
